Recently Dean and his team painted our property in Queanbeyan West. We intend living there eventually but for now it is rented. Dean worked with the tenant to set a time that worked for the tenant and also moved furniture to get the work done. He advised us when the work was starting and made sure that we knew when he was finishing so we could review the work before finalising payment. The work was done quickly and the standard of work was excellent. It was also a very good price and as we had had several quotes, we knew what was in the market. Thanks Dean for an excellent job. Do you charge for quotes?

No. Quotes are free, given on site, and confirmed in writing with the products and number of coats listed. You'll usually have it back within two working days.

What areas around Canberra do you cover?

Belconnen, Gungahlin, Tuggeranong, Woden Valley and Weston Creek across the ACT, plus Queanbeyan, Yass and Murrumbateman in NSW, and the surrounding areas.

Are you insured?

Yes, P&D Painting carries full public liability cover, and SWMS and insurance documents are on file for commercial sites.

How long have you been painting in Canberra?

Over 15 years. P&D Painting is a family owned business and the same crew works your job from start to finish, rather than subcontracting it out.

Do you do plastering and repairs as well as painting?

Yes. Cracks are cut out and filled, water-stained ceilings patched and sealed, and bare areas spot-primed before any topcoat goes on. Preparation is where a five-year finish is decided.

Can you paint a commercial space without closing it?

Yes. Commercial work is staged around your trading hours, using low-odour products, with floors and fittings protected so the space can open the next morning.

Do you paint roofs, decks and garage floors?

Yes. Alongside interior and exterior painting we take on roof painting, deck and fence painting, wallpaper removal and garage floor coatings.

How long will my house take to paint?

It depends on the size of the job and how much preparation the surfaces need. A full interior repaint of a family home is typically several days on site. Your written quote sets out the expected timeframe before we start.
